Satori Working Towards Another National Record Breaking
Score |
|
Things
have changed a little bit at the ESL Championship
2009. Satori, the AAA Class leader, allowed 4XTT from
Belgium already yesterday to match the score for Round
7. The 19-pointer in Round 8 was three points ahead
of the field again, and nothing seems to be in Satori's
way any longer to get past the 21-point average level
after ten rounds. Read

Post Excellent Scores to Round 7 at ESL |
| The
pressure on Satori is not put up by another 4-way team
on competition site in Hibaldstow this weekend. It is
more the team's situation after the UK Nationals 2009
and the FAI World Cup 2009. So far, Satori is fully living
up to the great expectations and stands with a 22.3 average
after today's seven rounds. The only question this weekend
is whether Satori will set another new national record
average after ten rounds. |

that the top contenders are observing each other carefully?
The
British team Satori, top contender at this year's
UK Nationals, was one of the teams that used the competition
draw of the World Games 2009 to check the current
performance level. Satori member Katie Woods said
that her team did the jump two times and scored 39
points in the first attempt, which did not go very
well. The second attempt was a 45-pointer and can
now be viewed on YouTube.

Satori V's Storm Challange continues, teams have new
line-ups
Bodyflight Storm will have a very hard time to beat
Satori this year and retain the title of the UK 4-way
champion in the Open Class, as Satori was even far ahead
of Pussy Galore with a 24.1 average at the World Challenge
2009. Satori's original Center Inside, Liz Matthews,
visits at the competiton site today. She brought her
baby daughter and watches her team and the competition
action. She hopes to be back in action very soon this
year. Satori finished with a 22.9 average at last year's
World Challenge and currently stands at a 25.1 average.

article on Visualistion
In skydiving as with other sports, we often talk about
the importance of visualising and how we should build
it into our preparation before a skydive. We are told
we should be visualising our body positions, the jump
we are about to do, how the skydive is going to go,
etc, etc. Read

that UK team Satori reports changes in team lineup?
Satori
report that Centre Inside Liz Matthews is being replaced
with former XL member Lee Love. We are pleased to report
that Liz is pregnant. She will obviously not be able
to train and compete with Satori this year but will
be staying with the team and moving into alternate slot.

Connextion this year, has made new 2009 plans with Satori
